Weather Warnings and Forecast

Environment Canada has issued yellow snowfall warnings for Kings and Queens counties, along with a special weather statement for Prince County. Flurries are expected to persist throughout the morning, with snow accumulations between five to 10 cm anticipated before tapering off later in the afternoon.

According to CBC meteorologist Tina Simpkin, wind gusts will continue to affect conditions, but the wind is expected to calm down as the evening approaches. This could lead to blowing snow but reduced totals in Prince County as the storm system moves out of the area.
